On Friday we took part in the Coleraine Primary School League at Coleraine University. We played six competitive matches in a fast paced and talented group. We finished joint first in the league with St John’s, having both won 5 out of 6 matches. We also tied in goal difference, with Millburn scoring an impressive 15 goals in total and a solid defence conceding only 3 goals in 6 matches.

However, as tied in the first two criteria, it came down to goal average and we congratulate St John’s for their performance and wish them all the best in the regional finals.
We are so proud of the effort of all the team and have seen a huge improvement in skills each week. Each girl should be very proud of their efforts and the talent they bring to our team. We now turn our attention to our next tournament at the start of April.
